This lovely little jewel of a pin is all original with it's extra long pin and c clasp. A cut back collet holds a lovely oval citrine in the center with a surround of natural pale grey pearls. These wee brooches were made to hold the lace collars, fichu, popular until mid 1800, around the neck. Circa 1830, 12k gold.

Details.....The brooch measures .72" x .58" and is in very good condition for its age. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
