Jewellery deals in some of the strongest materials known to man, and we’re here to reclaim those relics in unexpected new combinations that reconnect us with the past and redefine the notion of ‘misfits’. 

What we love about Victorian jewellery is its layered symbolism. A sign from the sky, these crescent moon and starburst brooches are so typical of the Victorian epoch, showcasing gemstones of graduating sizes and paying homage to solar deities and the timeless intrigue of the night sky. Reimagining their purpose, we’ve reworked them into statement stud earrings that can be mixed and matched.

In an homage to one of the many alchemistas who paved the way before us, we've named these unique earrings Evangeline. Evangeline Adams (1868–1932) was a pioneering American astrologer who popularised astrology in the early 20th century, gaining widespread fame for her accurate predictions and accessible approach. She successfully defended astrology as a legitimate practice rather than a superstition in a 1914 court case, helping to the study's credibility and legal standing in the U.S. Adams provided astrological guidance to prominent figures of her time and authored several books, including Astrology: Your Place in the Sun (1927), making her teachings influential well beyond her lifetime.
